full of mistrust, overwhelmed with doubt
she loved, he lost again
this place was their refuge in the night
illumination blocked, she cried
unwanted reflection, he denied
he walked on, she secretly followed
the dawn came, radiating through
her guard fell, his perspective new
the Light had brought healing once again
